I love this photo, but I am so curious about the ghostly shadow figure on the right side. Was that intentional? Is it a double image of somekind? Is it a reflection? The lightening is super!! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jan, the ghostly shadow figure on the right side wasn’t really intentional, but it wasn’t exactly unintentional either. I was simply photographing what was there. During the 30-second exposure, a man was on the dock in the photo for part of the time the shutter was open. The camera’s sensor recorded him for that portion of the 30 seconds. Then he moved while the shutter was still open, and the camera recorded blank sky. Put them together and you end up with a see-through figure.
