I’ve been a fan of Mellow Mushroom pizza ever since my college days in Gainesville, Fla, when it was about all I could afford. A decade later, Mellow is still one of our favorite places to eat because of the all-natural ingredients. Of course we were thrilled that James and Terri Allen, with the Daphne-Malbis, Foley and Enterprise Mellow locations, came to us to help them introduce their brand to the area.

If you’ve never been to Mellow, definitely check it out. The food is fresh, the atmosphere is laid-back, and they’ve got a great beer selection.

It was a beautiful day Monday on Canaveral National Seashore, just about 23 miles from the final launch of Endeavour. As the space shuttle program winds down, this family from Alaska was happy to see it. The mission included Commander Mark Kelly, the husband of injured Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.

As big fans of the shuttle program, and as a former mission commander from space camp (Meggan), it was awesome to see Endeavour go up for the last time. Endeavour, we’ll see you next at the California Science Center. Until then, bon voyage.
