Somewhere in the Middle of America – Just Married. Shalee and Tyler Hoffman leave the First United Methodist Church right after they were married in an August wedding. They came back for the wedding from Wayne, a northeastern Nebraska college town of about 5,000 people. “I’ve always imagined getting married in the church that I grew up in, and having my dad walk me down the aisle and pretty much the whole town of Red Cloud showing up, being’s you know everybody here.” “It means a lot to get married here. I really like this town,” she said. “I don’t think I want to come back and live here but I want to stay nearby because I know all the people and I love everybody here.”
