Fat Tuesday

Folly chases Death during the Order of Myths parade as it rolls through the streets of downtown Mobile, Ala., on Fat Tuesday, February 16, 2010. Mobile, Alabama boasts of having the nation's oldest Mardi Gras celebration, and the Order of Myths is one of the city's oldest parading organizations. Folly and Death have traditionally been a part of the OOM parade, in which Folly chases Death with a baton made from painted pig bladders.
